حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي أَوْ ابْنِي قَالَ وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا يُنْصَرُونَ عَلَى مَ
نْ نَاوَأَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ أَصَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي أَوْ لِابْنِي مَا الْكَلِمَةُ الَّتِي أَصَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with his father — or his son — and mentioned the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'This affair will remain strong and protected, and its people will be granted victory over those who oppose them, until twelve khaliphs.' Then he said something that the crowd drowned out. I asked my father — or my son — : What was the word that the crowd drowned out? He said: 'All of them will be from the Quraysh.'
