حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ ع

َلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى { لَهُمْ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ } فَقَالَ هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُسْلِمُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the verse: 'For them is good news in the worldly life and in the Hereafter.' He ﷺ said: 'It is the righteous dream that the Muslim sees or that is seen for him.'
