حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَسَنٍ الْأَشْقَرُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُدَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَرَّ يَهُودِيٌّ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَالَ كَيْفَ تَقُولُ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ يَوْمَ يَجْعَلُ اللَّ
هُ السَّمَاءَ عَلَى ذِهْ وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْأَرْضَ عَلَى ذِهْ وَالْمَاءَ عَلَى ذِهْ وَالْجِبَالَ عَلَى ذِهْ وَسَائِرَ الْخَلْقِ عَلَى ذِهْ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يُشِيرُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ قَالَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ }

English Translation
Husayn ibn Hasan al-Ashqar narrated to us, Abu Kudaynah narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Abu al-Duha, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: A Jew passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was sitting and said: "How do you say, O Abu al-Qasim, on the Day when Allah will place the heavens on this" — and he pointed with his index finger — "and the earth on this, and the water on this, and the mountains on this, and the rest of creation on this," pointing with each of his fingers? He said: Then Allah (عز وجل) revealed: {And they have not appraised Allah with true appraisal} [al-Zumar 39:67].
