Abu Bakra al-Thaqafi (RA) — this entry 'AbuBakrah' is an alternate transliteration of the same companion documented under entry 27, Nufay ibn al-Harith, who descended from the walls of Ta'if on a pulley and embraced Islam. He settled in Basra and became one of its most respected companions. He narrated approximately 132 hadiths and is particularly known for the narration forbidding participation in civil strife. He passed away in Basra around 51–52 AH.
