AbuSa'id al-Khudri (RA) is an alternate entry for Sa'd ibn Malik ibn Sinan al-Ansari, known by his kunya Abu Sa'id al-Khudri. He was an Ansari companion from Medina who participated in twelve military campaigns with the Prophet ﷺ. He narrated a very large number of hadiths — well over one thousand — and was one of the most dedicated of the companions in transmitting the Sunnah after the Prophet's death. He is especially known for his narrations on eschatology, the signs of the Last Day, acts of worship, and the importance of commanding good and forbidding evil. His biography in the collections under his full name is the primary reference. He passed away in Medina around 74 AH.
