ابن الجزري في القراءات
Abu al-Khayr Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Jazari al-Dimashqi (751-833H / 1350-1429 CE) was the undisputed authority on Quranic recitation of his era. He memorized the Quran as a child, studied all Ten Canonical Recitations, and went on to write the most comprehensive works on Quranic recitation in Islamic history. His al-Nashr fi al-Qiraat al-Ashr is the authoritative two-volume reference on the Ten Recitations. His didactic poem al-Tayyibah (al-Tayyibat al-Nashr) — modeled on al-Shatibi's work but covering ten recitations — became the higher-level memorization text for advanced students. He also wrote al-Muqaddimah (al-Jazariyyah), a brief poem on the rules of tajwid that is memorized by millions.
