جبريل فؤاد حداد
Gibril Fouad Haddad (born 1379 AH / 1960 CE) is a Lebanese-American Islamic scholar specializing in hadith sciences and Islamic biographical literature. He studied under Sheikh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi and other traditional scholars. He has written numerous books on Islamic scholarship, including biographies of major scholars and works on Islamic theology. He is the author of The Four Imams, Sunna Notes (on hadith and practice), and many translations of classical Islamic texts. He teaches Islamic sciences and is known for his work preserving and transmitting traditional Islamic scholarship.
