Ibn Juraij

Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA) — this entry 'Abdullah bin Abbas' (without the RA marker) is the same companion documented under entries 5, 16, 21, and 96. He was the cousin of the Prophet ﷺ, the foremost Quranic exegete among the companions, and narrated over 1,660 hadiths. His knowledge was so vast that the companions themselves — despite being his seniors — sought his counsel on difficult questions of tafsir and law. He passed away around 68 AH in Ta'if.
