جابر بن عبد الله الأنصاري
Abu Abd Allah Jabir ibn Abd Allah ibn 'Amr al-Khazraji al-Ansari was one of the most prolific narrators of prophetic hadith among the Companions, with approximately 1,540 narrations. He was an Ansari Companion from Madinah who participated in the second pledge at al-'Aqabah, the battles of Badr (though young), Uhud, and all subsequent battles. His father was killed at Uhud. The Prophet ﷺ was particularly kind to him and once offered to compensate him for his father's debts. He transmitted many hadith on fiqh, seerah, and tafsir. He died in Madinah around 74 AH.
