Umm al-Muminin
Maymunah bint al-Harith (c. 594–674 M) adalah last wife whom Nabi Muhammad ﷺ married during kehidupannyatime, and she adalah honored as one of the Ummahatul Mukminin (Ummahat al-Muminin). She adalah from the tribe of Banu Hilal and telah menjadi married twice before her union with Nabi ﷺ. The marriage took place in 7 AH / 629 M during the Umrat al-Qada — the compensatory Umrah that the kaum Muslimin performed under the terms of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, when Nabi ﷺ adalah permitted to enter Mekkah for three days. It adalah reported that Maymunah offered herself to Nabi ﷺ and that Nabi ﷺ's uncle Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, who adalah also her brother-in-law, facilitated the marriage. She adalah sekitar 36 tahun old at the time of the marriage, and Nabi ﷺ adalah 60. The Nabi ﷺ and the Muslim komunitas dianggap her with great esteem. She adalah seorang sister of Umm al-Fadl (wife of Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib) and a maternal aunt of Khalid ibn al-Walid and Ibn Abbas (Abdullah ibn Abbas, the great Al-Al-Qur'anic ulama). Through these family connections, her marriage strengthened important alliances. Maymunah adalah dikenal karena her generosity, deep kesalehan, and her role as a transmitter of hadith. She meriwayatkan sekitar 76 hadiths from Nabi ﷺ, covering topics of ibadah, purification, and Nabi ﷺ's personal conduct and manners. She adalah last of the Ummahatul Mukminin to die, passing away in 51 AH / 674 M at Sarif, the same location near Mekkah where her marriage to Nabi ﷺ telah menjadi consummated. She requested to be buried there, and her wish adalah honored.
