Raja' ibn Haywa

Raja' ibn Haywa al-Kindi was a prominent Syrian scholar of the Tabi'een generation. He was a trusted advisor to several Umayyad caliphs. He played an important role in the construction of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and was known for his piety and scholarly wisdom.
