Ruqayyah, daughter of the Prophet

Ruqayyah bint Muhammad adalah second daughter of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ and Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. She adalah pada awalnya betrothed to Utbah ibn Abi Lahab before Nabi ﷺ's mission. When Surah al-Masad (111) adalah revealed, Abu Lahab ordered putranya to divorce her. This freed her to marry Uthman ibn Affan, who would later become the third khalifah. Ruqayyah and Uthman adalah among the earliest kaum Muslimin and adalah among the first to emigrate to Abyssinia (Habasha) in the first hijra, seeking refuge from Mekkahn persecution under the Christian king Najashi. They later returned to Makkah and then emigrated to Madinah. Ruqayyah fell ill during the periode of the Battle of Badr, and Uthman stayed behind to care for her at Nabi ﷺ's instruction. She wafat while the kaum Muslimin adalah still at Badr, and Nabi ﷺ received the news of victory alongside the news of putrinya's death. She adalah buried in al-Baqi cemetery in Madinah.
