Sahl

Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi (RA) — this entry 'Sahl' refers to the same Ansari companion whose biography is under entry 13. He was one of the last surviving companions in Medina, living to approximately 88–91 AH, which made him an essential direct link for Tabi'i scholars seeking authentic narrations from the prophetic era. He narrated approximately 188 hadiths on the Prophet's conduct, character, and worship. His longevity and residence in Medina made him a permanent resource for the scholarly community long after most companions had passed away.
