سالم مولى أبي حذيفة
Salim Mawla Abi Hudhayfa was a freed slave of Abu Hudhayfa ibn 'Utbah who became one of the most eminent Companions in Quranic recitation. The Prophet ﷺ named him as one of the four Companions from whom Muslims should learn the Quran: 'Learn the Quran from four: Ibn Mas'ud, Salim Mawla Abi Hudhayfa, Ubayy ibn Ka'b, and Mu'adh ibn Jabal.' He led the early Muslims in Mecca in prayer due to his Quran mastery. He was martyred at the Battle of Yamama (12 AH) fighting the false prophet Musaylimah.
