Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, whose full name was Sa'd ibn Malik ibn Sinan al-Ansari, was a Companion of the Prophet ﷺ from the Ansar of Medina who participated in twelve military expeditions. He narrated over 1,170 hadiths, making him one of the most prolific Companion narrators. His narrations span a wide range of topics: detailed rulings on prayer and purification, eschatological narrations on the signs of the Last Day and events in the grave and afterlife, ethical teachings, and reports on the Prophet's physical description and character. He remained in Medina throughout his life and was a primary reference for both companions and Tabi'in scholars on religious questions. He passed away in Medina around 74 AH. This entry is a variant listing of the Companion also recorded in the database as Abu Said al-Khudri and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri. All entries refer to the same Companion.
