Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i — this entry is an alternate appearance of the same Tabi'i scholar documented under entry 85, Amr ibn Abdullah al-Hamdani al-Sabi'i of Kufa. He narrated from numerous companions including Ali ibn Abi Talib, al-Bara ibn Azib, and Zaid ibn Arqam, and was the teacher of Sufyan al-Thawri and Shu'ba. He was considered highly reliable in hadith criticism. He passed away around 127–129 AH in Kufa.
