Battle of Yamama against Musaylimah

The fiercest battle of the Riddah Wars against the false prophet Musaylimah. Khalid ibn al-Walid led the Muslim forces to victory, but 700 Muslims were martyred including many huffadh. This prompted Abu Bakr to commission the first compilation of the Quran into a single manuscript under Zayd ibn Thabit.
