أم كلثوم بنت محمد
Umm Kulthum bint Muhammad adalah third daughter of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ and Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. Like her sister Ruqayyah, she adalah pada awalnya betrothed to one of Abu Lahab's sons (Utaybah) before Islam. When Surah al-Masad adalah revealed, Abu Lahab ordered the betrothals dissolved. Umm Kulthum embraced Islam with keluarganya and emigrated to Madinah. After her sister Ruqayyah wafat di 2 AH while married to Uthman ibn Affan, Nabi ﷺ offered Umm Kulthum in marriage to Uthman. This marriage gave Uthman his famous epithet 'Dhul-Nurayn' — possessor of two lights — for having the honor of marrying two daughters of Nabi ﷺ consecutively. Umm Kulthum lived with Uthman until wafatnya in 9 AH without leaving surviving children. The Nabi personally participated in preparing her body for burial. She adalah buried in al-Baqi cemetery in Madinah.
