Jabir bin ‘Abdullah

Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA) — this entry 'Jabir bin Abdullah' is an alternate transliteration of the same companion as entries 6 and 25, appearing primarily in Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi. His full biography is under entry 6. He was from the Ansar of Medina, participated in nineteen expeditions with the Prophet ﷺ, and narrated over 1,540 hadiths. He was one of the last senior companions to survive in Medina and continued teaching until late in his life. He passed away around 78 AH.
