By accessing or using Islam.wiki (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Ummat (501(c)(3) application pending).
Islam.wiki is a free, open Islamic knowledge base covering the Quran (with tafsir and translations), Hadith collections, Seerah, biographies of scholars and companions, books, articles, and general Islamic reference. Content is sourced from classical Islamic scholarship and is community-contributed with editorial review.
If you contribute content (wiki edits, corrections, annotations), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Service. Contributions are subject to editorial review per Islam.wiki’s scholarly standards.

We accept voluntary donations. Ummat’s 501(c)(3) application is pending. Donations are not yet tax-deductible. We will update this section when tax-exempt status is granted.
We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations. You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings. Data is removed per our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Islamic content on this platform reflects the views of the cited scholars — not an official religious authority. Ummat is not an Islamic legal institution.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ummat is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100 USD.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA (upon incorporation; Michigan law applies until then). EU/UK users: mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
We will provide at least 14 days’ notice before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
