a. The different acts of worship which require an intention. An ordinary deed can become an act of worship with the proper intention. For example: Taking a bathyou do not need to make an intention if you are doing it simply for refreshment. But if you want to make it an act of worship, you must make your intention. b. The code of halal and haram You must believe in the permissibility and impermissibility of things. For example: In order to be rewarded for abstaining from alcohol, you must do so because it is a command from Allah, not because science has proven that it leads to liver failure.
