Egypt ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas – Was the first sahabah to document the Sunnah of RasulAllah sal Allahu alayhi wa Sallam. Some complained about this to the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) who then told ‘Abdullah to write down because out of his (RasulAllah’s) mouth is truth. He was very righteous even when young. He used to fast like Dawood, but when he got older he regretted it because he got very weak.
